The Florida League of Cities is proud to bring you the Institute for Elected Municipal Officials II (IEMO II) program on April 24-25, 2026, at the Renaissance Orlando Resort and Spa - Disney Springs, located at 1905 Hotel Plaza Blvd, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830.
Who should attend IEMO II:
This program is specially designed for graduates of IEMO and those with more than one term in office.
About IEMO II:
Created more than 25 years ago, this program offers a comprehensive overview of Florida municipal government, presented by a faculty of top professionals in the field. IEMO II is a two-day program structured in a Friday through Saturday format and is offered two times per year.
Workshops include media relations; planning, land use, and growth management; advocacy; advanced finance, and personnel and labor issues.
A certificate of attendance is provided upon successful completion of the program.

Hotel Information:
Reservations can be made HERE and must be completed by Friday, April 10, 2026. The room rate is $179.00 per night and self-parking rate has been reduced to $15. The resort fee has been waived. A credit card is required to guarantee reservations and cancellations must be received at least 72 hours prior to arrival to avoid one night’s room charge.
Cancellations:
Cancellations requests must be received and confirmed in writing by 5:00 pm on Friday, April 17, 2026 to be eligible for a refund. A $50.00 processing fee will be applied to all cancellations. Substitutions are accepted and encouraged. Refunds will be processed after the program. The FLC reserve the right to cancel the IEMO II training. If the training is cancelled, the registration fee will be refunded in full.
